The only iframes in the theme are the ones placed in it by Tumblr. I think you need to update your computer. If anyone else is having this problem, message me.
Know-Anon has been updated to version 2.1 and actually works now. If you have already, you won’t need to install it again, you will need to reinstall the styling.
Install Know-Anon here.
Remember Know-Anon? Well it has been built from scratch so you don’t have to use Sam’s Theme, you can now use it with any theme that fits the specifications (which most should, most good ones at least). It’s more secure, less obtrusive and less obvious, you can even customize it.
All the same precautions apply though, do not use Know-Anon for anything other than exposing haters. This won’t break your Tumblr, it’s safe but misusing it could scar your askbox, scaring people off.
It’s also important to note that this version is brand new and may still have some bugs. Give it a try though, you can test it for yourself on the Know-Anon page.
The new Root-Stack theme relies on being responsive and dynamically adjustable, which means posts need to quickly adapt to new sizes both from user input and content types. Unfortunately, by default photosets are based within iframes and are given fixed widths (250px, 400px and 500px), therefore adjusting their sizes dynamically is virtually impossible. So instead a custom layout was created which cuts each photo of the set in half horizontally, when someone clicks the photo it will enlarge to its full height. This reduces clutter and allows for the post to be easily adjusted like the rest.
It is not a bug it is a feature, a feature that seems to be a huge problem for many users. I am considering adding the normal photoset system but I will have to remove the theme’s responsive and dynamic resizing as well as the option to choose the post sizes. For those that use the theme, I would appreciate it if you voiced your opinion below, shall I change the photoset layout?
Valentines day is nearing and you may or may not be looking forward to it, you may or may not have a Valentine. Either way, your blog will look great with hearts falling from the top. Check out this cute theme plug-in for your Tumblr, it is similar to UT’s Snowstorm.js for Christmas, only less stormy and more romantic.
Preview it in action on Stacky 5’s preview page or install it from here.
Root-Stack is now available!
It’s not going to be your theme…
We know you like snow and your blog but what if you could put snow on your blog? Well unfortunately you can’t without destroying your computer, but you can do the next best thing - put Virtual Snow on your blog. Virtual Snow virtually looks like the real thing only when it melts it doesn’t destroy your computer.
To put Virtual Snow on your blog (you don’t have to be using a UT theme but it would be nice if you were…), place the following code above </head> in Customize. Preview it on Stacky’s theme page.
<!-- Virtual Snow by Untitled Themes -->
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.andrewandjack.com/untitledthemes/snowstorm.js?ver=2011'></script>
Have a very merry Christmas from UT and Andrew & Jack.
To install the previous version of Sam’s theme click the link above. It’s not supported though so I will not answer any questions concerning it.
Root theme may not have been online long but that doesn’t mean another version isn’t already in the works. Root-Stack (my naming schedule could be improved) is an alternate version of Root which combines the theme with Stacky.
Click here to try the theme out on the test blog. I recommend you open a photo’s soapbox (click any photo) and then click “View larger”, what happens is not seen in any other UT theme.
It will be introduced after Root succeeds the 1,000 install mark, or if you want it faster like my page.
Root-Theme is online, install it now before it debuts on the Theme Garden.
Follow the steps to install it. Because it’s a beta, you will be required to update to the final version when it becomes available.
‘Soapboxes’ (as we’ve called them) are boxes that are hidden by default but will appear when something is clicked (usually a three dot symbol), they’re full of useful post information and quick links.
You can see it in action on Root theme by clicking any image that has a three dots over it (when hovered over).
Sam’s Theme Version 4 is coming!
You can preview (the work in progress) here. The update will be introduced as a separate theme for those who don’t want to give up the previous version. The theme is full of fixes mainly addressing inconstancies in appearance, the sidebar has been redone and posts are cleaner and clearer. As well as some cosmetic changes: the background has been redone, Sam (the jumping person) is now a separate image that can be replaced, modified etc and the fonts have been changed.
Testing a new theme. Click here to preview it, provide feedback here.
Introducing Discoid, a new Tumblr theme.
Discoid combines circles with traditional posts to create a fresh take on the standard theme. The theme is built on Stacky’s foundations marking the end of the Stacky theme family. Features include:
The theme is online (although not yet in the Theme Garden) so you can install it now.
