The official blog for Untitled Themes and Level82. Theme updates, news, tutorials and support.
Version 1.8 may still be a while off but now is a good time to make some feature suggestions. Version 1.8 will so far include the following additions:
And more if you click the link above and message your suggestion.
Kinley is my best theme yet. You should preview it and/or install it.
Following the release of version 1.6 less than two weeks ago, which was missing a lot of the intended updates, 1.7 is now available and is by far the largest update Kinley has seen since its initial release. The update includes and fixes the following:
The install page has also been updated with the following:
If you would like to preview the new version, visit the preview page here, if you would like to purchase the theme click here and if you have already purchased the theme and would like the update, message me with the name or email address you used to purchase it.
Thank you for your patience. If you experience any issues with it, you’re on your own, Know Anon is not supported.
It will be online as soon as possible, but I cannot provide a time or date, it may take several days. It is advised that you avoid offending people in the time it takes to restore it.
Kinley has received a significant update, bumping it to version 1.6. The update addresses and adds the following:
To preview it, click here. To install it, click here. If you have previously downloaded the theme, message me for a link to the update or if you have messaged me for an update in the past, use the link again.
Introducing the Theme Assistant. All unedited Untitled Themes themes will receive the handy new Theme Assistant which is full of useful information. Theme Assistant is an expandable panel found in Customize (not on your actual blog) with updated information regarding themes, mainly tutorials that you request, conveniently on your customize page.
Many of the UT themes will receive Theme Assist as it rolls out over the next 48 hours. However if you have edited the HTML of a UT theme, you have an older version or you just want it, copy and paste the following, replacing </head> and <body>:
<!-- Untitled Themes customize assistant -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.tumblr.com/jw8fmba/i5nm2b5p0/untitledthemes_assistant.js"></script>
</head>
<body class="{Name}_tumblr">
The following themes have been updated or already support (waiting on Tumblr to approve them) the new audio posts announced today:
I will try and update the other themes to include it ASAP. If you desperately want it, I suggest you try doing it yourself.
Impress is now available. If you haven’t previewed it yet, preview it here and install it here.
The theme features the following:
And many more great things. I will expand on this theme in the next few days but right now I’m busy pushing updates to every other theme. Sorry for the vagueness!
[The final version of] Impress will be available tomorrow in the Theme Garden. If you’re currently using the beta, now is your chance to submit last minute feedback. I can confirm there will be no rolling/continuous pagination but I have made the current pagination more elegant. You can view the final (so far) in action by clicking the image above or here.
First - “Kinley takes forever to update when I install it”.
I’d like to conclude this is easily fixed, it’s not. It doesn’t, however, affect the theme or your blog in anyway. I’ll do what I do best when dealing with your questions and blame Tumblr (that was humor). If you experience this problem after clicking ‘Update Preview’, click ‘Appearance’ then ‘Save’, finally refresh the customize page and go about your customizing. Your updates may not automatically appear in the preview to the right but they do save.
Second - Regarding Know-Anon and support.

Taken from the Know-Anon page. I can cynically conclude that because you didn’t read that, you probably didn’t read the steps either. I’ll only respond to people requiring the code (without Facebook), though the number of people messaging me for the code has me surprised, I bet you do have Facebook you little liars.
Also, just to the people who have gone out of their way to tell me that [because they can’t install Know-Anon that] the code is flawed - with 20,000+ users and extensive testing, I can assure you - it works.
Finally, I will be working on a third update for the bastard-buster (its internal codename) in the week ahead.
Third - “The Kony Ribbon does not show on my blog”
I’ve stopped supporting Invisible Children (not the cause though), I will keep the ribbon online but I will not support it. I do support Falling Whistles and they look so much cooler on your blog.
There are a lot of people exposing anons…
The graph above depicts actual usage data of Know Anon, the number of users peaked at an unbelievable 20,000 yesterday. Since its introduction at the start of the year, it has grown uncontrollably, which isn’t as good as it may seem. It’s not good because Know-Anon was created to combat hate-mongering anons, so suggesting it is used correctly, 20,000 people found it necessary to unmask haters.
This is still amazing none-the-less, I encourage anyone who’s being bullied to give this tool a try.

Kinley has been updated to version 1.5. Version 1.5 includes the following changes, fixes and additions:
The update is now online, if you have previously purchased the theme and would like the update, message us. Make sure to include the name you used to purchase the theme.
I like the people who use my themes, I really like the people who use my themes and message me with thanks but I love those who use my themes and donate. That’s why I’ve made a donation gift… the best theme I have made to date, why is it the best? Here’s why…
Meet Kinley, Kinley is the most customizable theme I have designed, it is riddled with hidden quirks, easy on the eyes and takes every detail into consideration and produces something quite unique. On the surface the theme is familiar, that’s because it draws inspiration from some of Tumblr’s most popular themes and is based on my successful theme line - Stacky, more specifically Stacky 5. Familiar at first, but once you add your touch through posts and appearance settings, it’ll be unique to you and your visitors.
What does it include? What doesn’t it? Here’s a list of the highlights:
Every variable is editable to truly make it a custom theme. I love this theme and I hope you love it too, it’s easy to obtain, simply donate.
